For the Christmas party
The photos of the Christmas party in one place – and only the ones you approve
The Christmas party is the night with the most photos and the least that should get out. A QR code on the table collects everything with the organising team; what colleagues get to see is up to you. No app, no account, servers in Germany.
- Servers in Germany
- No app for employees
- Consent before upload
- Gallery only after approval
Made for a night that stays internal
Photos of employees are personal data – and at the Christmas party especially. Festatelier is built so you can explain it well to the works council and data protection.
Gallery only after approval
Keep the gallery closed until the organising team has looked through it. Until then everyone sees only their own uploads; afterwards you open the gallery or share a selection.
Consent and control
Before the first upload every person confirms that the people pictured agree. You hide or delete photos; colleagues can report pictures.
Data stays in Germany
Photos, videos and album data are stored with Google Cloud in Frankfurt am Main. No ads, no data sales, no face recognition.
How it works
From the invitation to the post on the intranet: one album, three steps.
- 1
Before the party
Create the album
Choose “Company party”, name the album “Christmas party 2026” and enter the organisation. The album gets a plain motif in the colour of your choice.
Keep the gallery closed
Under “Games” you set that the guests’ photos are shown later – from the Monday after, say, once the organising team is done.
Table cards and PIN
Print the table card with the PIN in A5 or A6. With a PIN only guests who held the card get into the album.
- 2
On the night
QR code on every table
Colleagues scan, confirm the consent notice, enter their name and upload – no app, no account.
Slideshow with approval
The organisers’ slideshow shows everything; what you hide never appears. The guests’ slideshow only runs with an open gallery.
Video greetings for the team
With the video guest book colleagues record a greeting – for the management or for those who could not come.
- 3
Afterwards
Review and approve
The organising team marks the best photos and hides what should not go on the intranet. Then you open the gallery for everyone.
Use the photos
Download the favourites as a ZIP – for the intranet, the newsletter or the photo wall in the office.
Renew the link
After the party you close uploads or renew the link; old QR codes then stop working.
What the album does for the Christmas party
No app, no account
Guests open their camera, scan the code and upload. It works for grandma and grandpa, too.
You have the last word
Mark favourites, hide blurry shots, delete what does not belong. Whether guests see each other’s photos is up to you.
Manage together
Invite family, friends or colleagues as co-hosts, so you do not have to keep an eye on everything alone during the party.
Live slideshow
Show new photos on a projector or TV while the party is still on. They appear automatically shortly after being uploaded.
Everything as a ZIP
Download the whole album, just your favourites or one guest’s photos, neatly named by time of day.
Photos and videos as shot
Files stay untouched – nothing is downscaled or recompressed. Photos up to 50 MB, videos up to 500 MB.
Printable table card
With the name of the event, the QR code and, if you like, the PIN – ready to print in A5 or A6 and styled for the occasion.
Survives bad Wi-Fi
If the connection drops in the party basement, the upload picks up where it left off as soon as the network is back.
Tips for the Christmas party
What works well at Christmas parties – and what to settle beforehand.
- 1
Inform people briefly beforehand
One sentence in the invitation – where the photos are kept, who sees them and for how long – answers questions in advance. You can link to Festatelier’s privacy policy.
- 2
Share the gallery deliberately
At the Christmas party it is usually right that the organising team sees everything first and shares a selection afterwards. You set that in the album.
- 3
Limit photos per person
With a cap per guest – 20 photos, say – the album stays manageable and everyone thinks about what they upload.
- 4
Photo tasks instead of a photo booth
“The whole team in one photo”, “Someone from another department”, “The best Christmas jumper” – photo tasks get colleagues talking.
- 5
Several locations
On the Standard plan you run 3 albums at the same time. Organisations with more locations or parties get the “Unlimited” plan on request.
Your photos are yours. And they stay in Germany.
Every celebration creates pictures of people who matter to you. We treat them with the care they deserve.
- Servers in Germany
- Your photos, videos and album data are stored with Google Cloud in Frankfurt am Main.
- Your photos belong to you
- We show no ads, sell no data and run no face recognition over your pictures. Photos and videos exist for your album only.
- Where a photo was taken stays private
- Other guests only see a preview of each photo, with the location and camera data removed. The original goes only to you, your co-hosts and the person who uploaded it. Videos, however, are shown to other guests in the original.
- Deleted means deleted
- Remove a photo and the file is deleted for good, immediately. A whole album takes a few hours at most. There is no hidden recycle bin.
