For your birthday

All the photos of your birthday party in one album

On your own birthday you never get round to taking pictures – you are in the middle of it. Your guests do. With a QR code on the table, their photos and videos land in your album, in original quality instead of in the WhatsApp group.

  • Free to start
  • No app for guests
  • Original quality
  • Works for surprise parties

Better than the WhatsApp group

In the group, photos arrive small and washed out, videos not at all, and after two weeks nobody can find them. Here everything stays together.

  • Originals instead of previews

Every photo arrives as the phone took it, videos up to 500 MB. Nothing is downscaled.

  • Styled for the occasion

The album wears the number big on its cover, with confetti and balloons in your colour. Or you upload a cover photo of your own.

  • Also as a gift

For a surprise party, friends create the album and collect photos and greetings beforehand – the birthday person gets everything as a ZIP in the end.

How it goes

Two minutes to set up, one printout for the table. That is all it takes.

  1. 1

    Before the party

    • Create the album

You choose “birthday”, enter the name and, if you like, the age. The album is then called, for example, “Lenas 40. Geburtstag”.

    • Send the link

Send the link with the invitation; print the table card for the party.

  2. 2

    At the party

    • Scan and upload

Guests scan the code, type their name and upload photos and videos. Even the ones who struggle with technology.

    • Slideshow on the TV

Open the slideshow on the living-room TV. New photos appear by themselves – which motivates everyone to upload more.

  3. 3

    Afterwards

    • Latecomers

Guests can still upload days later, until the date you set. You see who each photo is from.

    • Download and keep

Download everything as a ZIP, or just your favourites. On the Standard plan the album stays available for 12 months.

What the birthday album can do

  • No app, no account

Guests open their camera, scan the code and upload. It works for grandma and grandpa, too.

  • Photos and videos as shot

Files stay untouched – nothing is downscaled or recompressed. Photos up to 50 MB, videos up to 500 MB.

  • Live slideshow

Show new photos on a projector or TV while the party is still on. They appear by themselves shortly after being uploaded.

  • You have the last word

Mark favourites, hide blurry shots, delete what does not belong. Whether guests see each other’s photos is up to you.

  • Everything as a ZIP

Download the whole album, just your favourites or one guest’s photos, neatly named by time of day.

  • Survives bad Wi-Fi

If the connection drops in the party basement, the upload continues from the same spot as soon as the network is back.

  • Printable table card

With the name of the event, the QR code and, if you like, the PIN – typeset for A5 or A6 and styled for the occasion.

  • Manage together

Invite family, friends or colleagues as co-hosts, so you do not have to keep an eye on everything alone during the party.

Tips for the birthday party

How the photos really arrive – from the milestone birthday to the kids’ party.

  1. 1

Send the link with the invitation

Whoever has the link beforehand often uploads the first photos on the way there. And guests who cannot come still send a photo or a video as a greeting.

  2. 2

    Kids’ birthday: involve the parents

At a kids’ party, parents take pictures at pick-up time. A stand at the coat rack is enough. Before their first upload they confirm that the children in the photos may be shown.

  3. 3

    Prepare the surprise party

Create the album as a friend, invite the co-organisers as co-hosts and collect photos from the old days beforehand. In the evening the slideshow shows them on the TV.

  4. 4

    Remind everyone after the party

A short thank-you the day after, with the link: most photos only arrive once guests scroll through their pictures in peace.

Your photos are yours. And they stay in Germany.

Every celebration creates pictures of people who matter to you. We treat them accordingly.

Servers in Germany
Your photos, videos and album data are stored with Google Cloud in Frankfurt am Main.
Your photos belong to you
We show no ads, sell no data and run no face recognition over your pictures. Photos and videos exist for your album only.
Where a photo was taken stays private
Other guests only see photos as a freshly rendered preview without location and camera data. The original goes only to you, your co-hosts and the person who uploaded it. Videos play from the original file.
Deleted means deleted
Remove a photo and the file is gone from the server immediately. A whole album takes a few hours at most. There is no hidden recycle bin.
